Development - Checkpoints
Now back more into mechanics. I have created a checkpoint system. At first I absolutely had no idea how to create such crucial mechanic. Before I started making the game, I found various tutorials on YouTube. I have also received a professional help from one of my friends that knows the stuff like that. I bet this is pretty much what everyone should know how to make.
I was guided step-by-step to develop this mechanic, which went pretty well as after I thought I finished it and tested it, there was not a lot to fix in a code. Of course I received many errors during development but I managed to fix the rather quickly.
After that I created a timer that counts the time of playing the level. This mechanic is for determining if the player won or lose the game. There is the time that would have to be beaten in order to win the game. Again I used an online tutorial for making this mechanic.
